Podiatrist is the modern description for a Chiropodist. Podiatrists are degree-educated HCPC registered healthcare professionals who offer assessment, treatment, surgery and advice for a huge range of foot and ankle conditions.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

About our practice….<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The practice was formed, in 1998, when Kelsey Short and Julian Head merged their solo Podiatry Practices together and we became accredited by the College of Podiatry in 2012.\u00a0Practice Accreditation<\/a>\u00a0recognises our achievements in being one of a\u00a0limited number of practices across the UK who excel in all areas of practice.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Here you will find details of our\u00a0services<\/a>,\u00a0opening times<\/a>,\u00a0clinic locations<\/a>, costs of treatment,\u00a0our staff<\/a>,\u00a0our training,\u00a0<\/a>advice sheets, leaflets and videos.<\/a><\/p>\r\n

We operate from 4 sites<\/a> and offer Podiatry\/Chiropody<\/a> and foot-care accessories.<\/p>\r\n

In Harpenden and St Albans we also offer Chiropractic treatment<\/a><\/p>\r\n

In St Albans we have a dedicated\u00a0footwear<\/a> shop specialising in deep toebox and wider fitting shoes, in addition to two clinics. In Stoke Newington we offer a more limited range of footwear and foot-care accessories than St Albans.<\/p>\r\n

We are also a training practice<\/a> (rare in private podiatry) and occasionally have visiting undergraduate Podiatry students and former Podiatrists regaining their HCPC registration in our clinics.<\/p>\r\n
