“We are almost ready to publish localised interim study results. We have now treated 220 patients and the interim results will be based on that and the 89.9% efficacy over 6 months would appear to stand. This study is on-going and we can already conclude that a 4 x weekly protocol with a 6 month recovery is 92% successful when the nail is less than 40% included. This changes to 8 months where the nail is 40 to 70% infected and 6 sessions are preferred”.

“In my experience the Lunula Laser is the most effective product you can get by a long stretch for the treatment of fungal nail infections. Our results have shown in as little as 3 months, nails that were infected to the base have become clear. I have good experience treating fungal nail infections with thermal lasers, and they can be painful for patients and don’t achieve the same levels of consistency in result. The Lunula is easy to use, is pain free and we are achieving extremely high levels of consistency. It definitely promotes faster nail growth and clearance more than other lasers and we would highly recommend it to practitioners and patients alike”.

proven results lunulabefore after lunula 1“Having used a thermal laser in clinical practice since 2009 I was looking for a device which was effective in treating onychomycotic nails, patient and practitioner friendly, and low maintenance. I found all these attributes in the Lunula Cold Laser and we acquired our first device in June 2012. Treatment times are far faster than those with ND:Yag lasers, patients are amazed that the procedure is truly pain free and our photographic results and feedback from patients show a very high level of efficacy. The Lunula has been such an asset to The London Nail Laser Clinic that it has been necessary to purchase several more devices to keep up with demand for this treatment and ensure we can offer our patients what we believe to be the best treatment possible for such a common and unsightly problem.
