Head & Short have been in podiatry (chiropody) for over 25 years. Having constantly heard from patients the woes of finding shoes for “difficult-to-fit” feet we have decided to help!
In May 2010, we opened a brand-new purpose-designed Footwear and Podiatry centre in St Albans High Street (opposite Starbucks, near the clock tower).
We offer a good range of exciting products, including wide-fitting shoes, boots, insoles, orthoses, braces, socks, and all sorts of fantastic foot care products. You will find trained shoe fitters and Podiatrists on-site to offer assessment, help and advice. With clinics in the same building you’ll be able to have your feet treated (corns, callus, verrucas, nail problems including minor surgery), be assessed for insoles and orthoses (gait analysis and biomechanics including foot scans), have shoes fitted and buy everything you require for your foot care and footwear needs.
We also have an Ebay shop from which you can purchase some of our last season footwear (we offer these shoes at a discounted price to clear stock).
